The 2027–2028 FAFSA will be available by October 1. Seniors planning to attend college or a career school in fall 2027 should complete this free application to be considered for financial aid.
Columbus State University is offering two opportunities on Thursday, October 1, for local students and families to get help, ask financial aid questions, and learn about next steps:
Lunch & Learn FAFSA Q&A: 12:00–1:00 p.m. at CSU’s Main Campus, Jordan Hall 209
Evening FAFSA Help Session: 5:30–6:30 p.m. at CSU’s RiverPark Campus, Frank Brown Hall 1105
Students considering Columbus State can also complete a CSU application in person during the FAFSA Opening Day event and have the application fee waived.
Planning to attend CSU in fall 2027? Keep these dates in mind:
October 1: FAFSA opens
March 1: CSU priority processing date
July 1: Submit your FAFSA by this date to help ensure financial aid is ready for the fall semester
