Graduation Information

Lighthouse Virtual Academy does not provide graduation caps and gowns; however, LVA will provide cords and sashes.

Seniors must coordinate with their home-zoned school to purchase caps, gowns, and any additional required items. Please be sure to regularly check your email, as we will share information as it is received from home-zoned schools.

LVA Administration is here to support seniors and families as they navigate the graduation process and is happy to assist in any way we can.

Seniors should stay informed about and attend any mandatory senior meetings hosted by their home-zoned school.

Attendance at these meetings is required, even if the student does not plan to participate in the home-zoned school’s graduation ceremony.

Diplomas are issued by the home-zoned school.

Seniors should order their diplomas with their home-zoned school.

Parents and seniors should confirm the spelling and punctuation of the student’s name with the home-zoned school prior to graduation.

Questions regarding graduation materials or procedures should be directed to the home-zoned school.

LVA Administration is available to support seniors and families and assist with any questions or concerns throughout the graduation process.
